Promoting Equality – Your views

Local district councils have a responsibility to promote equality of (economic) opportunity and its important they receive feedback from their constituents (including businesses) on how they do this.

Shepway District Council’s draft Single Equality Scheme has recently gone out for public consultation and they have asked Channel Chamber to encourage Shepway-based members to feedback their views.
Full details of this consultation are available on the SDC website and there is a special form for responses to be registered .
